Battered Porkchops

Ingredients

  • 4 Center Cut Pork Chops
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1 Beaten Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Shortening
  • Parsley to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder

Directions

Mix the dry ingredients into a bowl. Mix the milk and egg into a separate bowl. Dip the pork chops into the flour bowl then into the egg bowl, then back into the flour bowl Brown the chops in the shortening. After all the chops are browned – add the water into the skillet and turn to low. Place the chops in the skillet and cover, cook over low for about 45 minutes or until chops are cooked through
